RJ had his two week checkup on Friday (July 6) and he's a healthy baby boy.
The last time he went for a weigh in, he was 6lbs 9oz. and when he went in for this checkup he was up to 7 lbs, 1 oz. So, by his two week mark, he's exceeded his birthweight (6 lbs. 13 oz.) and gaining at a very appropriate rate. Typically pediatricians expect a newborn to regain their birthweight by the time they're 2 weeks old, and then gain about 2/3 oz per day. RJ has actually gained 1 oz per day since his last visit, so he's doing great!
He also got his Hepatitis B shot and his first Snoopy band-aid.
