Back to School

Some of you may already be aware, but I started taking computer science classes to work toward a Masters degree last year. Not only do I get to take these free thanks to Cheryl being a professor, but enrollment put my federal loans into automatic deferment.

Last winter semester I took two CS classes in addition to our birthing class. Combined with my 50 hour work week and 2+ hours commuting each day it was a bit much. I took it a little easier in the spring semester by taking Drawing 101 (which you may be surprised to learn doesn't count toward my degree).

I took the summer off to adjust with RJ. My course this semester is Data Communications and Networking and taught entirely online. That should give me the flexibility of schedule that I need. While it is not as much fun as drawing, I am also taking a Screen Writing class through work, playing flag football and street hockey.

You may not hear from me again until December.
