Accomodations: The Lang House (Trip Advisor Reviews)
Wednesday April 6:
We arrived at the Lang House after a very long car ride, which was mostly full of a screaming Logan. He was pretty much sick of riding in the car at this point. And he was very clearly letting us know that even though it was most certainly nap time, since he had taken a short rest on the way to the Sugar Shack, that he was in no way, shape, or form going to fall asleep again and that he was not happy with his car seat any longer. We were so happy to get him and RJ out of the car. They played in the room for a little bit before we put them in the stroller to walk around Downtown Burlington before dinner. We were HOPING to find a little toy store that carried dinosaurs, since the ONLY thing that we had heard (over the screaming baby) for the entire ride was how RJ was sad because he didn't bring any T-Rexes with him on the trip and that he was sad because we didn't have time to stop at the Dinosaur Store on our way out of Quebec City, but alas, there was no cute little independent toy store in Downtown Burlington.
Lance and I visited the Ben and Jerry's factory for our first anniversary back in August of 2004, and not a whole lot has changed at the factory, although who got to pose as Ben & Jerry did.

After "lunch", we spent the rest of the afternoon driving down to Boston and (FINALLY!) getting me a new phone. We added an additional line to do it, but I had a Droid again and was happy. Also, as fate would have it, the Verizon store was across the plaza from (wait for it...) a Toys R Us. RJ was patient waiting for me to get my phone, so he (FINALLY!) got his T-rex, who he named "Stripey", but then informed us that his real name was "Buddy", but his nickname was "Stripey".
We then arrived at Josh and Rachel's and had some yummy chinese food before putting the kids to bed and getting to catch up a bit.

Note: I *thought* we had 4 T-Rexes when we packed, but HummusWe walked around for a little and then ended up having some pizza on Church Street before heading back to Lang House for the night. RJ decided that although he had a super comfortable bed of his own to sleep in, that he would rather camp on the floor. He slept all night there, so he must've been comfortable enough! Logan crashed with Lance and I in what was the most comfortable hotel bed of the trip. We then packed up and headed down to breakfast. We had delicious pancakes for breakfast, talked with a nice older couple who didn't seem to mind our children, and then packed up again. It would've been nice to have more than one night there, but we wanted to get our butts to Boston to see our friends too!
ended up being under our Entertainment Center and thus did not make it back to
the bag, Annie and Dolores Tyrannasaurus were Dinosaur Train T-rexes and
apparently did NOT count, and I am a dumbass and didn't realize that the other
one was ACTUALLY a Dilophosaurus. Even though I am the genius who decided
to teach RJ all about dinosaurs, apparently Dinosaur Train did a better job.
After packing up, we went back to Downtown Burlington because Lance found a toy store on his phone, but it was no longer in business. This led to more whining about dinosaurs in the car, but our good friends Ben & Jerry helped out a bit by sugaring the kids (and adults) up for lunch!
