Vocabulary and word combination is fantastic. I was counting RJ's words and a month or so ago I hit over 40 words that RJ speaks, and since then, I have just lost count. RJ can usually let us know what he wants reasonably well with words. He still speaks a good amount of gibberish, but he's getting better and better at parroting and making his words sound the way they're supposed to. However, we're now starting to see the downside in all of this. He can now make demands of us and we can't pretend we don't understand him!
